Fisher-Price 2-in-1 Singing Band Walker

Fisher-Price 2-in-1 Singing Band Walker - My Personal Recommendation

Fun but little too fast for wobbly babies learning to walk
My son is 13 months and not yet walking independently. I thought this would be perfect so he could push this around and get anywhere he wants to go. It moves a little to fast for him so he isn't using it as a walker yet. I think it will function better in that capacity after he is independently walking. I was hoping for something to help him walk now and get some confidence. But, he does enjoy pushing the buttons and playing with it for now.

Customer review : Great Buy
My daughter got this when she could sit up on her own. She will be turning one soon and she loves this toy. She started by sitting in front of it playing with the piano and the little book. And when she heard the music she would dance and dance and dance... It has not become annoying like most musical toys because she is so fun to watch playing with it. Then before I knew it she was walking across the livingroom with this toy. She just motored right around. I laugh because they walk like little grandma's with walkers at first. (No offense to little grandma's. I have one that is 93 and she is the greatest.) I would totally recommend this toy to someone. Just remember never let them play near stairs with it. I know it should be a no brainer but I'm an ER nurse and trust me... I have seen it all.

Fisher-Price Stride-To-Ride Lion

Fisher-Price Stride-To-Ride Lion - I Pick This One

My daughter loves it!!!
We bought this for our little girl when she was 8 months old. The lion is very cute, has a big purple nose that lights up when pushed, and it plays music. It really encouraged our daughter to walk and within a couple of weeks she was walking without holding onto anything. Now she's 13 months old and uses it as a ride on toy. You don't have to push the nose in order to get the music to play, sometimes it plays when you push it around. Great toy, highly recommend!

VTech - Sit-to-Stand Dancing Tower

VTech - Sit-to-Stand Dancing Tower - Check it Out

Entertaining Toy
My twin girls love this toy. I bought it for them when they first learning to stand and really liked that we could adjust the height so that they could hold on it and learn to pull up. Once they were really pulling up we raised it and they use it to cruise. They love, love, love the microphone on it and laugh at each other "talking" into it. I think they will continue to enjoy this toy in the future as they start to learn the songs and to dance along with them. My only complaint is that the top rotates about a quarter turn and can be a little unstable when they are holding on.

Customer review : A childs toy, no more, no less
I purchased this along with boxes of other items from Amazon during their holiday sale of up to 75% off toys. UPS showed up with about 6 boxes of toys and this little item is one of my sons favorite.

There is little educational value with this toy and is meant more for keeping your little one occupied than to teach him the inner workings of cause and effect as most toys try to pander to a child's learning stage.
Essentially it is a steering wheel on a pedestal with lights, muffled voice, and a dancing bear.

Interaction is through levers, buttons, and of course the rolling noisy hamster cage. Battery life is unknown though we are still on the original Duracells in the unit since Christmas.

Safety:
The unit is pretty sturdy and seems to hold up well with the abuses of my son as he has a tendency to rather take things apart to see how what makes them tick vs. just playing them them. I see a Craftsman tool set in his not to far off future. No...
